As one of the true sporting legends of our time, Gary Player has cemented his place in the record books with an incredible career of 164 victories. Spanning five decades, Gary’s achievements include winning nine Majors, winning the Grand Slam on both the regular and senior PGA tours and winning tournaments in 28 consecutive years.
Off the course, Gary, is renowned as a golf course architect with over 300 design projects throughout the world. His company, Blake Knight International, includes Gary Player Design, Player Real Estate, Gary Player Enterprises and The Player Foundation.
If there ever were to be a true Mr South Africa, Gary Player would be it.
Izimvo has the great pleasure of introducing Mrs South Africa Semi-finalist: Louise Robinson.
Louise, a working mother of two, is proving that it is never too late to follow your dreams. With the support of her family, Louise entered the Mrs South Africa pageant and has been selected as one of the 15 semi-finalists. The annual competition, held later this year, sets out to highlight the importance of married woman in today’s society.
Louise is hosting a high tea for those in the Ballito area this Saturday, the 6th Feb. The high tea includes a fashion show and is raising funds for the Mrs SA charities, the biggest of which being The Beeld Children’s Fund.

Today’s inspirational voice belongs to the founding partner of TomorrowToday: Barrie Bramley.
Barrie is the Chief Imagination Officer at TomorrowToday, a company which he co-founded in 2001. He heads up the Talent Development Project where his focus is on strategic consulting and advice on issues relating to the ‘new world of work’ and attraction and retention of today’s worker. Barrie is recognised as a creative and strategic thinker with an ability to influence both individuals and teams.

Izimvo is honoured to introduce the founder and owner of African Boot Camp: Sean Temple.
African Boot Camp is styled as an alternative outdoor “African Lifestyle Fitness Philosophy”. This form of results based training is a fun but focused way of keeping fit and trim and is achieved using the landscape we have here in Africa – especially the beach!
Izimvo has the pleasure of introducing curator and visual artist: Nathi Gumede.
Nkosinathi (Nathi) Gumede is an artist and a curator who feels that we South Africans need a 12th official language: Visual Art. Over the past few years he has been a familiar face on the Durban art scene at KZNSA Gallery, Kizo Galley and now at the DUT Gallery. During his term at Kizo, he also curated the annual Heritage Arts Festival.
Nathi has exhibited his own work in galleries such as the Norman Dunn gallery in Pietermaritzburg, the KZN Society of Arts Gallery and the African Art Centre Gallery just to name a few.

Sasha, who first joined national broadcaster 5 FM in 1994, is one of South Africa’s most popular radio and TV personalities. He is well-known for his love of all things motor-sport and especially his love of the Ferrari Formula One team.
Sasha can also be seen on SuperSport as the Formula One anchor and as the MC of the annual MPH TopGear Live World tour.
Izimvo has the distinct pleasure of introducing the Springbok assistant coach: Gary Gold.
Gary, one of the finest technical minds and strategists in the game, is renowned for his academic and precise approach to coaching. Before joining the Springboks as assistant coach in May 2009, Gary was the head coach of Western Province and London Irish.
Izimvo is honoured to introduce freelance photographer and self-confessed madman, Geoff Brink.
Geoff set out on the 28th December to cycle from Durban to Cape Town, on a unicycle! The Heart & Sole tour is traveling across South Africa to raise funds and awareness for the anti-landmine organisation, The Sole of Africa.
