Izimvo, the Zulu word for  ”our voices”, is a new blog focusing on every-day South African life. Founded by two proud South Africans, Shaun Trennery and Marc Forrest, Izimvo will share weekly interviews with people from every walk of life. Questions asked of those featured on the site will try and provide some insight to what life is like within this great country of ours.

Regional categories including Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town will provide quick access to interviews of those living near you. Izimvo will thereby try and answer questions such as:

• Do others living around me share the same hopes, dreams and fears as I do?
• Do we share and can we learn from the lessons learnt every day?
• What are the venues and events that define South Africa?
• What has been done and what can we do to improve our communities?
