Izimvo, the Zulu word for  ”our voices”, is a new blog focusing on every-day South African life. Founded by two proud South Africans, Shaun Trennery and Marc Forrest, Izimvo will share interviews with people from every walk of life. Questions asked of those featured on the site will try and provide some insight to what life is like within this great country of ours.

I’m a 33-year-old husband, father and web developer from Umhlanga, Durban.

I’ve been in the IT game since about the age of 22 when I started as a Cobol programmer for First National Bank. I’ve since found a true passion for all things web especially UI development. A typical working days sees me working with technologies such as C#, ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Server.

I confess to being an early adopter and am always looking for the next big thing.
